The quality of Human Resources is the main foundation for progress for a nation. ICBP continuously develop programs to support improvement of human resources quality, through formal and informal education provision and access, as well as through improvement of nutrition for the community.

  • Through Education
    Indofood Scholarship
    Every year, ICBP provides scholarships for its employees' children with outstanding achievements. Overall, more than 15,000 children of employees have received these scholarships, which were granted to elementary school students up to university students. Through this education assistance, ICBP aims to encourage the students, who are Indofood's employees' children, to reach even higher levels of achievement and develop their full potentials.

    Indofood Riset Nugraha ("IRN")
    ICBP, together with the Indofood Group, conducts IRN, a program providing financial support for research activities, mainly in relation to food quality improvement as well as food diversification, to support national food security. Evaluation processes are conducted by a board of experts consisting of eight prominent experts in technology and food industries.

  • Through Nutrition Improvement
    ICBP is committed to contributing to the acceleration of efforts as part of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in Indonesia, especially points 4 and 5: "Reducing Child Mortality" and "Improving Maternal Health", with an emphasis on the first 1,000 days of life.

    SUN Mobile Clinic
    To raise public awareness of the importance of balanced nutrition from an early age, ICBP continues to develop the SUN nutrition for mothers and infants mobile service program, which is dedicated to the provision of nutrition services, consulting and knowledge outreach on balanced nutrition for the community, together with examination services for expectant mothers. SUN mobile units are equipped with facilities and equipment to examine pregnancy that can be used to help monitor the growth of the fetus in the womb. ICBP received the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) Award from the Office of the Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Indonesia on MDGs for its participation in promoting the health of children and expectant mothers through the SUN Mobile Clinic program.

    Laser Beam Project (LBP)
    Together with United Nations World Food Programme, ICBP carried out nutrition intervention program for 10,000 malnourished children in prone to malnutrition area of eastern Indonesia, which are Soe and South Central Timor regencies, East Nusa Tenggara. The nutrition intervention was conducted in the form of a weaning program for infants for a year through 340 integrated health posts (Posyandu) across 14 districts.

    Integrated Health Post ("Posyandu") Program
    ICBP, through Nutrition & Special Foods Division, involved in the Posyandu Revitalization Program especially Posyandu that are built in factory areas. The revitalization program is conducted in the form of provision of supplies including weaning food products as well as training to enhance the capacity of health workers.
