OUTREACHING TO THE COMMUNITY
ICBP consistently develops social interaction and good communication with the communities in the areas in which it operates. Activities conducted during 2011 included the following:
- Safari Ramadhan and Share the Love programs, conducted during religious occasions such as Ramadhan and Christmas. Participation consisted of the provision of packaged products and school kits for needy communities.
- Mass Circumcision program for underprivileged children in communities adjacent to our factories.
- Each year the Company donates sacrificial offerings to the community, commemorating the feast of Eid al-Adha.
- Social infrastructure development such as renovation of places of worship.
